A bit of Rogue Trader

I am kicking off the blog with a few shots of  a Rogue Trader game I played last year, featuring Imperial and Eldar forces clashing over an abandoned outpost.

Please note the copious amounts of lichen in use as is de rigueur for all Rogue Trader games.

Imperial forces advance.

The Eldar Warlord takes aim.

The game ended up being very one sided with the Eldar force's multiple Shuriken Catapults and Multi Lasers cutting swathes through the unfortunate humans.  The Imperial Walker was shot down early so we let another come on in its place.  This too was brought down in no short order.

I was in the Umpire role for the game to make sure it went at a good speed and not to get bogged down in the nitty gritty of the rules.  The system was still very playable though I dreaded any close combat happening. Thankfully it never did!

  1. Brilliant game and congrats on the first blog, I registered your blog some time ago and was waiting for the big launch since we played at BOYL ;)

    1. Hi Assless, yeah it has taken some time to get this moving! I will be hopefully showcasing all the 15mm figures I have got done since that fateful day!
